Topic Approved.

A new machine is always a better option. But, if you do get a quality second hand deal (which is somewhat tough), do go for the ZMA. However, looking at your primary usage, I would suggest you go ahead and get yourself a GS-150R!

I second Aryan. Go for GS150R. Low maintenance compared to a Karizma.

Karizma is the costliest bike to maintain among all the Indian bikes. Also you won't get good mileage figures. So choose wisely.

Buy a second hand Karizma only if you know that guy and you think the bike is properly maintained. The bikes at RamKoti looks good, you do not even know how the engine parts inside. Very risky to buy from there.

Karizma with ripping it gives only around 33 kmpl in city. With a bit sane riding under 5k rpm you can manage 38-40 kmpl; remember, no ripping, no red lining. On highway at 100 kmph it gives around 33 kmpl. At 80 kmph, it gives 38-40. At 60 kmph 45 kmpl is guaranteed.

The quality of the GS150R is good. Maintenance of GS is definitely lesser than Karizma. The spare parts of karizma are really expensive. Eg, the disc pads are 1750 bucks.

Karizma drinks fuel because its engine is 223cc and its power is more.

There is a thread on GS150R. Go and check it; there are some good ownership reviews about the bike.

Hh Zma is an awesome bike but stay away if its second hand, it may give u maintainance trouble.
Go for GS150R, see the thread of ownership. Don' t bother about spares, they are available, suzuki won't spoil their impression on new launch.
