will go for it... ![]() but there is no harm in waiting for the new bike... The thing with me which is going against the Fz-16 is its Speedometer and its colour scheme. This bike offers 3 colours and most of the guys are going for the red one which is my favorite too. I don't wanna lost in the crowd like pulsars... ![]() So I am thinking about the Fz-S and also waiting for the Fazer... ![]() 20th June is the date, Till then, I can wait...

Custom paints are always available. You wanna buy stock colored bike and wanna stay the only guy on the street with that scheme
![]() Just a small advice: Dont forget to take a test ride for R15, if you havnt till now. It might change your decision. FZ-16 is a wonderful bike though!

According your choices as good pickup i would say both apache and FZ16 are good, but in case of top speed Apache is far better than FZ16... even though FZ16 can reach the 110 mark... Top speed, 1. How quickly you gona reach the top speed... in that case it's Apache, FZ is not so quick in attaining top speed(say frankly top speed is not so good for FZ)... 2. But at what ever speed you ride, the stability/handling/comfort/control... man-o-man it's FZ man... definitely FZ... that's y i bought FZ... and touring i also prefer FZ than Apache... but power, mileage, throttle response is more good in Apache... U take the test ride and decide... or wait for the new Apache RTR 180

A Sensible Biking Freak...
|
One of my fellow X-Bhpian (Sarab_FI) recently had a tour to Pune on his RTR FI. Had a great trip, no hic-ups, ran the bike in the speed-band of 80~100 Kph for more than 2.5 hrs. Highway ride is awesome. Only pain is the ergonomics which hurt in traffic.
On the other hand, one of my friend owns FZ-16. Frankly, FZ-16, FZ-S and Fazer have the same engine, same ergonomics, which are nice for touring and city riding. But, after riding for a while, I started feeling bored. It lacks the punch that my RTRFI has. And if you are a music lover, you'll just love RTR FI's bass notes. It will make you forget your fatigue. RTR 180 lacks THAT bass note. Otherwise, quick, flickable and little more refined than its siblings. Haven't rode P180 UG4, or cud have helped you more to enlighten the differences. (But do Pulsars now liked to be bought???) Those were the bikes' praises. Keep in mind that machine needs maintenance and this is the point which gets most less spotlight. YAM engines are super-refined, reliable to much extent, but maintenance is on the expensive side. On the other hand, I see TVS workshops getting involved in verbal quarrels sometimes. I guess the reason of your hate towards HH is the missing aggression in their styling and performance. Hope it wud have helped to enlighten some dark corners of purchasing a bike.
