Question CBR 600RR 2007 edition and 2008 import, a fair deal or not?

The Ninja 250 has certainly annihilated my patience. Now I seek for what I ever dreamt off.
Among the 600 cc category Mascots I finally chose to pick a CBR, as that subsumes my utmost contention level and truly justifies me. I have an offer(the price as of now is not finalized but would be within the range of 5.5-6lakhs(this itself defines my maximum budget)(the owner got it for 7.7 lakhs)).
Its a CBR 600 RR 2007 edition and a 2008 import. Its done 7560kms and been around with the owner for a little above a year.
I will be checking the bike condition tomorrow, since in such a high end business no one contemplates a backturn positively, so before I proceed, I forsee all the maestro's to posit their view.
I must ascertain the fact that the asking price may seem to be more but then I cant find another seller for CBR 600 RR(as I'm specific to the bike edition and import date) in the city Bangalore.

Topic Approved.

I would seriously suggest you to stay away from gray imports. It could be trouble.

Did the owner tell you why he is selling off the bike ?
Dude, raids on illegally imported bikes are talk of the town these days. Maybe he is getting rid of his bike for that reason .....

The reason cinched out was his relentlessness on using the bike, as he is rarely able to take out time for his steed. He is tucked up in his business and the baby is thereby mostly an immovable object in his Parking lot.

As majority, rather everyone insinuated about the grey market bike issues(even I knew the DRI raids being so prevalent, but the excitement massacered my rational thinking) I shall now consider the same.

But then I am left with no option now, holding a meagre 6 lakhs will never fulfill the intricacies of owning a legal one!!

Are you a lawyer, scribe or are you simply using a thesaurus to select complicated words to complete your sentences? This is the first time I have come across a writing style that is unnecessarily seasoned with words and flourishes designed to impress...rather than convey any meaningful message. In other words - keep it simple s*****d

Back on topic - grey market 600s are going for 4 lakhs and under in some parts. There is a very good reason for this

stay away...put the 6L towards the downpayment on a legal bike of your choice.
