Restricted item is the word used which equals being illegal. But despite that, if you want it, you pay a fine AND a penalty, which can vary between 0-200% In that case, not even the DRI can do anything about it.

The way you answered on the post did indeed remind me of Joyce... I quote herein: "Stately plump Buck Mulligan came from the stairhead, bearing a bowl of lather on which a mirror and a razor lay crosse."

It was indeed a mystery a century ago. But today, with the modern novel, being initiated by him, we seem to hover on the fringes of comprehension, with some patience even getting there! But I guess we are going grossly OT and we can carry this forward in detail elsewhere...
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

My head is spinning. Our forum is of extremes. Either we have inane posts one after another, and on the other side, this guy springs out of nowhere. Someone plonk him on a bike and make him write a travelogue. I will take a day off and read it, going by his posts here.

Good luck with your plans, whichever way you go. Many POVs have been expressed here, enough for you to make an educated decision

A 'sarcastic flattery' or a 'genuine compliment' Rossitier!!!
Thanks anyway, I will uphold my fideism as that will give me strength to discard the CBR 600RR, shall withhold my excitement as that will give patience and seemingly uphold my self-credence as that will give me power to sustain without 'one' (ofcourse till I add another 6 lakhs in my kitty).

I'll be alive again most possibly when I get a hand on one someday!
        Thanks to everyone once again.

          lol

While reading your posts i had to hit my wordweb more times than I have had to all my time here. And it was good fun, Hawthorne.

          Welcome!

About your query, even though I'd be beating a dead horse, its one more to the "dont buy them grey market ones" club. Also, there are people out here, and some that I know, who have invested 6 odd lacs of their own, and helped by banks et al, have managed to get legal bikes.

So, you know, you know best.

But then, literary acumen not withstanding, i'd think it'll be better if we do use simple and lucid words, so that one doesn't have to look up the theasaurus on every word !!
Also I'd think we can understand things much quickly and get on with the thing in discussion !!!

But only my humble opinion, not binding on anyone !!
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!
