hello friends,
after receiving replies of respected forum members on my thread.i have planned for new pulsar180,but as the bajaj website says that Bajaj will
be going to launch a high volume bike on 18th july,I m confused that whether i should wait untill 18 july to see whether bajaj launches p200 or just buy existing p180.also pls suggest on new yamaha fazer has the bike got any performance changes with respect to Fz16.
i have no problem in going for any of three bikes. but i m in confused.
what should i do? pls suggest..

Topic Approved.

I do not know what this "high volume" motorcycle you or Bajaj is talking about (I have not visited the said Bajaj website), but as far as the P200 goes, the current P200 is, or rather has already gone out of production. It's the new 2009 P220 DTS-i everywhere!

+1 to Aryan..
The P200 is out of production.. Not aware what Bajaj has lined up on 18-July, but its not going to be the P200 for sure..
Regarding the Fazer, the specs are same as the FZ-16/FZ-S.. It differs only in the looks department, with an added semi-fairing, & is heavier by 4Kgs than its Naked Siblings..
So if the choice is only between P200, & Fazer, suggest you wait for a couple of days, by which we should have some news if a new P200 is really coming..
& if a new P200 is not coming, & you don't mind picking up one of the few left behind in the showrooms, I'd suggest you pick the P200.. Reason: More power, more VFM..
Else, the Fazer should be good, if you really don't mind shelling out that much for it..

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back;
and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

i am not sure what is meant by a high volume bike. does it mean a high capacity bike 250 cc or more or a bike which is expected to have a high volume of sales figure....

but anyways, i believe its going to be the latter. If you can just spend an extra 8~9 k, then the new 220 dtsi is going to be real VFM even when compared to the new 180. Trust me, but i am not sure what are your exact requirements since i have not come across your previous thread.

Also reg the fazer, i believe it just a faired version of the FZ16. A real beauty to look at. Just compare the Fazer and the FZ1, from a distance both look pretty similar. Go for it only if you are looking entirely on poser values and not in to performace. I feel just being a poser, it doesnt justify the cost of the bike.....

The bike to be launched on 18 july will have the world most fuel efficient engine and will definitely not be in the premium segment .So there is no way it could be a new 200 Moreover bajaj has discontinued the 200.
So Go for New FZ if you wants only looks or either new p220 .

well i really don't think it would be p200
of the two bikes shortlisted i'd vote out and out for the 180(no awards for guessing why)it outclasses in all depatments(considering looks to be subjective to personal preference)

when u r ready to spend 82k on fazer y not the same on P220 yaar best VFM
and also you have trustworthy karizma and then the new apache rtr180
