Question I am stuck between Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220

Namaste Riders,

Am an amateur rider from Mumbai and I want to buy either a P220 or a P180. Please help me in finding one.

My height is around 5.11 and I will use it for both city traffic and occasional long rides (not that long though). Am 27 years old and yes this is my first bike!

Recently I have picked up this passion of bikes and I want to stick to it for a long time. I have started saving money from last 3 months now and in a month or two I will definitely get one of these beasts.

Thank you in advance!

Guess you are new @ xbhp so, a warm welcome .

And about the bike, well my opinion is just go for a 220..The mileage is some what similiar, the price difference is also not that great and the 220 just would give you a fastest INDIAN TAG!!

one more thing, if you dont have patience and you need the bike right now then you would be having no other option then 180, coz the 220's RTO is stil not confirmed...and even if it gets confirmed this week they may take 3-4 more weeks to give u the delivery

You are rite Seamus, even the showroom guy told me that theres a waiting period of 15-20 days for a 220. Ive checked both the bikes and both looks equally good. Except that 180 fits my pocket but am ready to that extra mile for performance. Which is why am stuck.

A P220...... blindfolded. I too was in a similar dilemma : "Which performance bike?". I hadn't even considered P220 in my list. Watching the ownership threads, i decided to give it a try. The bike is simply awesome and i decided to buy it the very next day of test riding it.
But since it is your first bike, test ride a bunch of other bikes in similar range like RTR 180, R15 and ZMA so that u know which one best suits your riding style.
Best of luck with test riding and yeah, don't forget to buy some safety gear... atleast a good ISI helmet and riding gloves.

Just imagine if Bajaj had not stopped P200 ?

I would suggest P220 (as many put it...HIGH VFM)
