my brother wants to buy a road bike (racing type) in mumbai. the options being considered are:

Hero thunder racer
Firefox
Merida
any other options are welcome

basically i want a good bike which is value for money
thunder racer is hard to find - most probably it's discontinued
so its firefox vs merida i suppose.
can anyone suggest a bike for about 10k
also, is there a dealer for merida in mumbai?
which is better merida or firefox, considering merida in steel frame is available for about 10k in delhi and firefox will be starting at around 15k
or is there any cheaper model of road bike in firefox
