        i have a assize cyclocomp lying around. bought it for Rs.900 about a year ago. It is completely waterproof. but sadly it didn't work well with my RXZ. I had all the setup ready and it did show me readings when i spinned the front wheel, but as soon as i started the bike there was an interference and it showed all random values. It worked perfectly on a bicycle though. Tried covering the sparkplug wire and assembly and also the cyclocomps wires with aluminium foil thinking it may isolate the interference but no help. Any one faced a similar problem? And solved?
        You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

          see if something is interfering the signal between the sensor and the magnet while Wheel Rotation
          my Cyclocomp is showing less speed than the speedo by 5-6kmph which may be due to the approximate Wheel circumference I input in it. Will measure it correctly and see

            circumference confusion

            @Prakritij : Need your help in entering wheel size input.
            My bike's tyre reads 3.25 - 19
            There is no entry for this on the chart supplied with my speedometer.
            What entry it accepts ; tyre circumference or circumference at the point where sensor is installed

              bro...at any point no matter where you put the magnet, all over the wheel the rpm will be same
              measure the wheel dia(with tire) and you will get the circumference...P=ПD
              where P=perimeter(circumference)
              П=3.14
              D=diameter
              and do upload and show me the pics

                Thanks for prompt response and refreshing my high school maths
                I will calculate using this formula and also cross check by putting a mark on tyre and rolling it over floor.

                BTW what is the meaning of 3.25 - 19 written on tyre ? As per my understanding 19" is rim size and 3.25 is Profile height of tyre. So the circumference should be =3.14*(19+(3.25*2))*2.54*10
                i.e. 2034 in mm.
                Please correct me if wrong.

                  regarding the maths, I was just showing off

                  you can to the tire rolling or just measure the dia with a tape.

                  3.25 - 19 means : 3.25 is the width of the tire and 19 is the rim dia in inches. I think the height and width of the tire ia same, giving an aspect ratio of 100%.

                  btw, which Bike do you have with 19" tire? RE??

                      waiting for the pics
                      also mention if you are getting readings close to the Speedometer. Which brand is the Cyclocomp?

                          Mine's too is Chinese make by the name "BoGear"
                          Rs.307 and got nothing with it other than the cable ties. Looks cool though and I look it up to know the Time most of the times. 14 features here too.
                          My original plan as mentioned at the starting of the thread was to get a cheap one to experiment how it functions and then go for a good one once I am satisfied.
                          Now, I am satisfied with it and will use it till its end of life and then go for a better one.
                          whats the battery type in your gadget?

                            @Amardeeep:

                            yeah I got confused.

                            I used cable ties and they hold strong. I recommend not to use metallic clamp as they may scratch the paint. also the sensor is small for a hose clamp. try cable ties first and if you are not satisfied go for hose clamp.

                              1. The front fork of bullet is too big for cable ties provided with setup.
                              2. I wasted on of the cable tie provided accidentally . It seems irreversible process to untie this thing

                              I will ask few electrician shop for big size cable tie today.
