you used a hose clamp? if the clamp is touching the fork, you can use a small piece of rubber to wrap the area(clamp width) and then put the clamp or else the paint may get scratched if the clamp is metallic.
P.S: I have a La Soverign but not used since I got my Motorcycle.

        done

I have successfully installed the sensor using electricity cable ties of size 8" .
The original magnet is too week for motorbike and doesn't fit on spokes so I took a used speaker from a radio mechanic and used it's magnet. Used feviquick super adhesive for sticking it on rim.

Results : I could not test it for more than 25kmph since the display does not have self light and street lights are absent from gurgaon /does not work most of the time . I will test is again tomorrow in daylight.
There was no error in speed till 25 kmph.

Will try to upload pics tomorrow as my digicam in not with me and cellphone does not have led flash to shoot in dark.

No,it was a hard plastic zip tie. I cut it, and stuck a rubber piece, with fevikwik, in between to make it long.

instead of using adhesives - u can simply buy/use rare earth magnets than speaker magnets. small and get the job done just fine

^^ magnets/RE magnets don't attach to the non ferrous mag alloys of Motorcycles

@hitanshu: Where to get rare earth magnet ? what cost ?
Speaker magnet cost was zero but doesn't look neat .

@Prakritij: I have tested this till the speed of 66 kmph on the way to office, no major error observed in readings. There was a gap of ~ 2 kmph in readings which i feel was due to incorrect reading of mechanical meter and not this one.

^^ hehe thats what I was thinking as on some tires the max speed the tire can handle Safely is mentioned and I was thinking RE tire of 50kmph is absurd
                                Thanks for clearing the doubt
