I got the psynyde furan acera build a few months back now... was planning to review it sooner but I was too lazy to get myself to do it... so here goes.

the bike has the acera groupset(8 speed), xcm 120 mm fork and tektro mechanical disk brakes. I got it for 32000+ 2000 for shipping. the guys at psynyde bikes was really helpful in getting a lot of my doubts cleared and I have to especially mention ajay padval (god rest his soul) for his tolerance for my obsessive calling when a transportation problem due to a tax form occurred.

about the bike I only have good things to say... she rides like a beautiful beast... the 120 mm travel smoothens out most of the rocks and roots on the trail. the slack head angle really helps add stability to the ride especially when going downhill. the saddle is comfortable for me but had a slight difficulty in setting the saddle angle but the seat post is simple with only one hex bolt so it's not a troublesome problem. the brakes work well enough for my local trails but I'm moving to Bangalore next year (hopefully) and might upgrade the brake if the Bangalore trails demand more breaking power. the wheels are quite bombproof and took all my bad technique had to offer.

these are the upgrades I plan to do:

#put a 140mm fork as I want to be a bit more aggressive point the trail .... and that would also have me change the front hub to one which supports a thru axle

#put a dropper seat post( recommendations welcome)

    # upgrade to a 1*11 or 1*12 drivetrain

that's that I guess... if you guys have any questions I'll try my best to answer them

    cheers
