re iterating again -- parallel threads

mahabaleshwar has been painted green this time around

again a very vfm product but does it pulls your heart's strings--only time will tell

I am hoping the comparo should be brutally honest & not politically correct with the GT650 atleast for the xbhpians tuned to this thread

This looks more like a first impression than a proper review. I hope magazine will feature a full fledged review.

Sunny, must say, awesome pics. Love your work with the camera.

Is it time for me to sell my 250R off? I don't think so. I will wait for the ZX-6R, better if they get the ZX-14. Most importantly, bring these at a great price like 250R and 650R.

    Ultra cool pics.

this must be by far the most relevant product from Kawasaki for India. it has all the right ingredients. this bike inspires me to somehow reach a level when i can afford it. too good

Now only if BAL could do something about the 250r pricing .

Nice pricing, still cant figure out why 250R costs all that much !

Sports tourer usually dont have clip ons like the FAZER,Bandit for the extra comfort. But Hyper Tourers like VFR etc do but compromising the extra comfort.

Awesome bike pics . Plus like the way Indian Biking scene is headed with releases in the Super-sport category soon followed by Sport-tourers-Yeah!!!...
I agree N250R is proved to be good for touring but this one with the "built from scratch for sport-touring" set-up should make it one hell of a touring machine.
Above all , the Pricing !!! ... May be seeing Ninja250R pricing, I was expecting it be in upwards of 5.5lac ex showroom given the heritage etc etc but this Green machine is spot-on when it comes to price! Hyosung should serious watch out !

In India the best sport-tourer on offer presently being Suzuki Bandit 1250 (Also in the whole world when it comes to VFM ) is in upwards of 8 lacs , this seems practical for those looking for a sport-touring with that oomph factor (green!) and at something at much lesser price...

Bottom line - Stop spending .... Start saving !

    Nice Review...

Now the wait for ZX6R or even better ZX10R starts...

If the pricing stays on the same lines.... boy.. I am game.

Great review and pics Sunny and all involved!

The looks of 650 is plane uninspiring. Sorry fellas, for speaking my mind. I just wish and pray, the Ninja 250 gets a bit affordable. Bajaj, has a sure customer in the form of me. The 3 lacs price somehow looks deterrent to me.

    IKM/ Bajaj, please do something.

Nice review and some really great photo's, pretty decent pricing, still in the US it's around $7000, which is less that 3.5 lakhs, I am looking forward to the comparison with the GT, maybe this will encourage Yamaha and Suzuki to launch in this segment and price range (Not talking of R6, other options are there)

    Now an even BIGGER question!
How does the Ninja 650R compare with the GT650R? Log back onto xBhp tomorrow to find out!
Great review as always Sunny. Loved it. The pics are mindblowing. Kudos for yet another fabulous review.

Just wanted to point out that the spec sheet above for the 250R is for the carb version which sells in the US market, while we have the UK spec here with the FI engines.

Waiting for the comparo with the hyosung's GT650

Thanks for the review Sunny ! This is defintely going to create good ripples in the Motorcycle Industry. I am smelling competetion coming for Ninja 650R already Good, I say.
I would too agree with the colouring scheme. Total green would have done better justice to this mean machine. I guess all black Ninja650 will look bigger, optical illusion Definitely a VFM product. Power coming at 8000 rpm means it's a relaxed engine. Superb for long distance-without break touring

Love you Kawa... err Bajaj too
