Theres one thing I really wanted to know. What about the ground clearance ? I mean the GC is only 130 mm and combined with more than 1700mm wheelbase, does it create problems on speed bumps ?

What about Intruder owners in Bangalore ? The speed bumps in Bangalore are really pathetic !! Does the bike hit the chassis ?
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

In the 1000 odd KM i have been on the bike, speed breakers have really not been an issue. I faced a problem only at Delhi Mega Event for the first time as the ramp dropped abruptly when I was bringing the bike into the ground - the ledge must have been > 135mm. The problem does not come when there is a taper on the other side.

In case I anticipate an issue, taking the bike diagonally over the hump is sure to take care of the same.

I guess the speed breakers in Delhi are still tolerable. The ones in Bangalore are pathetic !! My Aquila with 1500 mm wheelbase and 155 mm GC, still scrapes at so many bumps !!
                        Wich is y I asked.

Before you guys rush out and buy one here is my take as an owner / rider who had one for 11 months. Done 16,000 kms and had three burnt clutches. And each fix was about 25K. If you want a power cruiser get the Rocket III. No plastic bits, all metal and close to 150 lb ft of torque. And 2300 cc to boot.

Three burnt clutches in just 16,000 kms.!!?? How? I mean, what might be the reason behind this?

Easy. Twist the throttle, dump the clutch. Repeat. All Sunday

                                ^^ Perfect !!
Sounds like something I can do after I loot the bank !

But seriously, how would the bike hold up, in case one has an easier start off the line, do not accelerate too hard and generally take it easy eh ?

Also any Bangalore Intruder owners in the house ???
I have seen one in Bangalore, so I hope there is !! Just needed to know how does it hold up on the speed bumps in Bangalore !!
