100kmph in 8.04 seconds on Inazuma...that wont happen. if it happens, its faster than CBR250R. 22nm torque with 183kg cant pull that faster to beat cbr250r. all the reviews which I went through says about 10 to 11 seconds to hit a ton. The bike in the video might have removed one exhaust or did some mod to reduce weight. its a wild guess

You're right, that's why I mentioned it's optimistic. The bloke who runs the blog below, has quoted that as manufacturer claims (you've to scroll down a bit in the site), what's interesting is the numbers quoted for CBR 250R & Ninja (from MCN) to compare as well.

Infusing some fresh perspective - found another video on YouTube. I suspect it's from Bunny Punia (one of the former road-testers in Bike India; I guess he was active in xBhp too, a few years ago. Not sure where he is now, though). He is a heavily built man, with a self-proclaimed weight of over 100 kgs & I assume he has done a V-BOX based testing of the times.

0-100 in 9 seconds (true).

That's my point. Not 11s. Anyway, these figures are purely academic, but goes to provide insight into the flexibility of the motor.

The bike will be noticeably more responsive on ditching the dual exhaust, for a single one & with a regular (lighter) rider.

Point is, if they launch it here in India. While I'd love to see the naked Honda to grace our shores, popular vote is for faired bikes (in spite of having a VFM product in the D390, most are crazy about the new RCs). Our market needs to mature some more. Until then, bikes like these are just distant dreams.

well said. Indian bikers(not all)are posers and they need to get noticed everywhere. Naked street fighters will make way to India only when this mind set changes...

Apparently Inazuma is frugal when compared to its competition. Suzuki claimed that it can return 40 kmpl @ constant 60 kmph. But 40 kmpl @ constant 80 kmph would have been more impressive.

If one is a regular tourer then mileage & comfort are on the top in preferences.

I'm looking for ARAI certified mileage for Inazuma for transparent comparison. Does anybody know it?

I tried searching for it to no avail. Have written to their customer care. Also, in other websites, Suzuki claims 82 mpg, which roughly equates to 35 kmpl.

If the gearing that suziki claims to use for that figure is known, we can work it out ourselves right ?
Is it known what gear that figure for 60kmph is taken ? 6th ?

Tell me about it. A noob like me asked for advice on what bike to buy a few months ago and was pummelled with P200NS and the Bullet - you need more power they said. Months of silently scavenging their threads and I learn that nobody rides above 80kmph for extended periods because of the vibes or some other reason. I get the feeling that a lot of purchases are driven by spec wars - its true for me as well but atleast when someone asks for an opinion I try to explain the ground facts more than the spec sheet.
