Re: TVS Jupiter Ridden and Reviewed
Confused b/w jupiter and access. Already own an access and cutting through traffic is a breeze. I wonder if i lt would be the same on the jupiter. My main concern is power but i am inclined towards the jupiter because of its features and mileage.
looking forward to your views guys. Need to buy one tomorrow itself.

You already own a Suzuki access, so why don't you give a try to Jupiter. BTW Yamaha has launched a new scooter. Have a look at it as well.Originally posted by babaji View PostConfused b/w jupiter and access. Already own an access and cutting through traffic is a breeze. Re: TVS Jupiter Ridden and Reviewed
Hi All,
I bought my Jupiter in March 2014 and absolutely love it. I like the headlight beam pattern the best. Very well designed. Anyone tried any mods yet? Specifically lighting?
How about projector HIDs or LED headlights?
Regards,
Uday

Re: TVS Jupiter Ridden and Reviewed
Hi,
I have bought a Jupiter for my city roundabouts and now have ridden 2000 km. The scooter performed and served the purpose very well. The suspension is very perfectly tuned and it offers excellent ride quality and also handling on tarmac and off tarmac as well. Performance is on par with other scooters in the segment as I have extensively ridden my friends Yamaha ray and Activa. Mileage I am getting is really astonishing around 64 kmpl on highway drive and around 50 kmpl in city use. I ride between 40 - 50 kmph everywhere.
Top speed went till date is 70 kmph, no twitching or vertical movement (Activa users will feel that). Have to test the actual top speed after some time. Engine is very smooth and power delivery is linear as well. Pulls strong even two on board, me and my brother weigh about 160 kg total. Engine has excellent refinement, no vibes through out the range. I feel the throttle response is little bit less crispier than the old model Wego and Activa. No cold start problem as it starts in first crank and settles into neat idle. Fuel tank is very easy to open, no need to get down, the under seat opening keyhole is easy to reach through the left hand and turn it anti-clockwise. Neat. After fueling just stretch back and just press the lid or the sales person in pump will do that. Braking is excellent and is on par with Yamaha Ray stopping with assurance and good feel as both these scooters employ advanced telescopic suspension. No front lifting like Activa and some other scooters which employ trailing link suspension.
Handling is very nice and cutting traffic is just a cakewalk. Around fast corners too it falls in the desired line keeps it well on track and executes the corner in a motorcycle fashion. The 12" 90/90 tires on both the wheels does help this scooter excel in the crucial ride and handling department. It simply set a new benchmark in the segment.Last edited by venky; 07-27-2015, 11:49 AM.
