I would like to get your opinions of which one should I go for? I prefer cafe racers, scramblers and streetfighters over sportier motorcycles.

Pondicherry eh? keep the r15 for the tarmac and get a xpluse for the bush. Reason is, xpluse is cheap, easy to reapair and its hero, parts particulary grow on trees. Considering that there are really beautiful mountain ranges near Pondi this would be good.Originally posted by SNIP3Y View PostHi, guys. I am an owner of R15 V1 and I have decided to upgrade my bike.

Dont want a new bike? bajaj avenger pre 2015 models, bajaj cheap easy to repair and with a little modification to the rear suspensions, a kick start and you can tell your peers that you were ballsy to make a scrambler out of a crusier. See Yamaha SCR.
If not that then try a spoke wheeled Honda Unicorn for modification, ledgendary Honda reliablity and ease of use and good fe. Problem is, it is seen as an ' uncle ' bike
Regarding the crurent crop of dukes, bajaj domin whatever, and yamaha you would be home to as they in very basic terms more powerful r15s. Yes on the tarmac you get an advantage and with some care go off road, but in my opinion better to keep two distinct use bikes rather a single all purpose one. .

Thank you for your opinion... The reason I'm upgrading is cuz my r15 is 9 years old and the handlebars are starting to make my hands go numb... I won't sell the bike though... Will keep in my garage as collection. R15 v1 is one of a kind! I just need a new daily use bike with a bit more power than my r15.Originally posted by Manan View PostPondicherry eh? keep the r15 for the tarmac and get a xpluse for the bush.
