    Bike running on water

    A civil engineer of Baroda has designed a bike that runs on water rather than petrol,Diesel.It has speed of 50 kms per 10 seconds.He took one and half year to design this wonder bike.

      this is actually a very old news, it appeared in newspapers long time back....

      a few guys in the western countries have also done similar experiments.

      can gujarat xBhp guys try to meet this guy, and get some details...it will be very nice....to know indepth.

        50 Kilometers in 10 seconds? is he fooling me or did i understand it wrong... i dont think even a sukhoi goes that fast... 50km in 10 secs is faster than sound(in air)

            he mean to say, bike reach 50 KMPH in 10 sec.

                Found some more info, though not in depth from another site:
                Vadodara youth develops water fuel cell driven bike - NEWSPOLITAN

                Also the local news paper had a write up with various features like touch start, shut off bike with cell phone etc.

                    hmmm... this guy is gonna be kidnapped soon or die a very sudden death ( no offence )... if his project is real, then all the oil companies are gonna go for a toss!!!

                    Edit - Bro looks like a yamaha/rossi fan with the purple yellow paint scheme.. The bike looks zany for sure.. i like!!

                        ^^ Yup... true that... Bike makers like Bajaj/HH/TVS should be hounding him by now... imagine a product line up of eco-friendly bikes, that give you 70KM to the litre of water, but cost about as much as a R15, alongside the dirty, polluting, guzzing P220s or something which are 30k less or so.

                        But yeah, one thing that a lot of inventors miss out on, is good packaging, and his bike looks awesome with the fixed and lowered front.. Some clip ons, and a hot bike in the making!!

                          That's right. He packed it real neatly and its one good bike, even in its present state.

                          But guys, I seriously doubt this stuff. How is this technologically explainable?

                          I saw some similar news on TV in which another set of guys made a setup which they claimed, that it used silencer heat to decompose water into Hydrogen and Oxygen, and then injects Hydrogen into the combustion. But that's not how it happens. If you heat water, it will just boil and disappear into air.

                          Water is decomposed using some solvent salts and electricity if I heard my Science teacher correctly a decade back. It was clearly fooling the journalists as the prototype was just a HH Passion and its petrol engine running normally...


                          So, what's the deal here, in this particular news?
