It might not the right place to share this, but this the thread which can be remotely attached with literature, writing & reading, i would like to mention it here.

In the month of November i attendended a customer, he is a postmaster and he also has a thing for writing, hr has written a lot of "Kavitayen" till date. He was very happy the way he was attended and dealt with, to show he is appreciation and gratitude, he wrote two Kavitayen for me.
It was pretty touching, i will surely get these framed and will keep with my trophies, for me its nothing less than an award.

Just completed the Jack & Jill, didnt like the end that much, i felt a bit cheated. Read 500 pages and the case was still unslolved at the ned, WTF.

BTW will be starting reading Acts & Omissions from tonight onwards.

Finally got my hands on Bullet for Bullet by Julio Rebeiro.
Short Summary:In this book,Julio Ribeiro gives us a memorable glimpse of the manner in which he policed a metropolis (Mumbai) high on crime and touchy politicians. Along the way, the author also puts at rest the image created of him as a kind of Rambo patrolling the mean streets. Supercop he was, we gather, but one who never packed a gun.

Almost half the way through with "something of a mocktale", the book is a work of fiction based on JNU Campus's life style, its not as catchy as my routine murder mysteries.

It will be a little early to do this but if i have to rate this book i will give it 6.5/10.

One autobiograpgy I liked a lot is of Lee Iacocca. Currently reading The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand and have One Hundred Years of Solitude for the next read.

I just finished the Something of a mocktale by Soma das, this one is her first book and it shows.

I will try to get my hands on "Argumentative Indian" by Amertya Sen, its a collection of essays written by this Noble prize winner.

Will it be a good read? please suggest in case you have read it or reading it.

Hey, is there really a title by that name authored by Geddy (Rush lead vox).
All I know is Ghost Rider: Travels on the Healing Road by Mr. Peart (Rush Drum God). Haven't read it though. Reviews indicate they are verbose rants - well, most of it. I dig his lyrics, though.

The Masked Rider: Cycling in West Africa is said to be Neil Peart's best work.

                              Book on Motorcycle Engg wanted

Guys, wonder if anyone here can help me out. I'm looking for a book called Motorcycle Engineering by Irving P.E. Any ideas where I can get a soft copy or print, since the book is out of print. If anyone has it and wants to share/sell, that's OK too. Old book stores in my city don't have this book.

PS: Found in the Anna Univ automobile engg syllabus for BE. Anyone done that?
