Was thinking you have already come here and watched the movie. Just yesterday, for the 3rd time I watched the movie.

The IMAX is very near to Nampally station, just around 3 km. You will not have any major traffic jams between the Nampally station and IMAX. A maximum of 10-15 min is enough for the travel. Expect the traffic to be very less on Sunday.

Regarding the Biriyani, Hyderabad House is good and standard. Pasradise Biriyani used to be good but I never liked it these days. Wait for more suggestions to pour in for Biriyani.

Hyd Express reaches Nampally (Hyd station) by 6am.
Nampally itself is a better area to find a decent place to stay.

Prasads iMax is about 20 mins from the station in regular traffic... God knows about peak time traffic jams.

The Dark Night on the iMax is a must see... fabulous... even my wife found it paisa vasool and wanted to check if we can go again.. I am blown out by this as she never lets me watch an English move... she'd have to ask me what the dialogue was and I hate to explain while the movie is on!!! Enjoy yourself.

Sunday traffic is pretty okay unless you have many marriages on that day (that's the scene now a days... so many marriages). In teh morning it generally gets busy from 11am (that's when all of us lazy buggers wake up, get ready and hit the roads in our cars!)

hmmm... the biryani.... forget Hyd House... one of the worst. Bavarchi is far away... even Pradise is off ur route but there's a beter place in Basheerbagh (abt 15 mins from Prasad's or 10 mins from Nampally) called Cafe Bahar... try the biryani there! That's my Fav.

Or else, the Hyderabadi Biryani served at the Ohri's food court in Prasad's complex itself is pretty good (they do take abt 15 mins to serve you and count another 30 mins to relish the dish... may be you should go for their combo offer... read the board there!)

Bahar is ok... and good as well.. But no comparision with hyd house when it comes to hospitality and taste as well.

Dont know why it takes 15-20mins from nampally station to imax. You just have 1 traffic signal in between.

Route: Nampally-Assembly hall- Secratariat*

*= Just before secratarial.. you have a small road to your left(just before the flyover starts).. take that route... which will take you through mint compound..and a couple of turns will land you at IMAX

@mehul: Providing no traffic jams...and normal traffic...takes you hardly 5-10mins to reach imax.. Try Hyd house biriyani... And head back to hotel...take some rest... Catch a cab..and go to Airport. Journey from nampally to airport would be somewhere around 1.5 to 2hrs...under normal traffic conditions.

Do not worry about any traffic jams on Sunday. You can reach IMAX in just 10 min. Hyderabad House would be one good option for Biriyani.

It would be a great idea to have a G2G at IMAX followed by a Biriyani G2G. We will enquire about your stay here soon.

Earlier Paradise had lovely biryani at the airport village. You can get lovely biryani in Hyderabad House, just 1km short of the trumpet interchange before the airport

Else Paradise in secbad is the place to go

Hitanshu... Now the airport is changed to a new place dude. No biriyani places near the new airport AFAIK. Atleast in a radius of 10kms...

who says??? there is a Hyderabad House on the highway at shamshabad.

Guyz little Confusion.

There are numeraous HH i have seen (There are 3 between Madhapur and madeenaGuda.) Which one is authentic. So far, my experience with them is Pathetic, be it biryani/Non Biryani.
