    Good GPS Instrument

    Hi guys,

    I am in search of a Nifty GPS instrument and would also like to know from where i can buy it from... are there any sites from where i can order them online.....??

      See, there are so many instruments to mention here, and they vary a lot.

      Whichever instrument you purchase, make sure it has SirfStar III Chip only! ok?

      SirfStar II won't be that good, but is acceptable for budget users...


      Other than these two Chipsets, I don't recommend any other GPS Chipset ...

        Mediatek MT 03 trumps SirfStar III completely. Its there in standalone devices, but phones come only with SSIII.

        Garmin Legend HCx/60 CSx ordering from US ONLY (worldwide costly).
        Phones - just check reviews. Asus P320 has lovely GPS, no software/maps (can crack/dl), but shitty network (gsm arena/reviews). Others have SSII only.

        So think and only then buy
