  • software to help you with your next service items

I tried to create a software which will help you to guide you to what items you need to work on in your next service cycle.

Note: currently this software is compiled and tested only on the x86 class of processors (i.e. most of Intel and AMD processors) on Windows operating system.

To download the software, you can:
    1) download the file attached to this software
    2) rename the files to remove the .zi.zip extension at the end of the file-names
    3) use 7-zip to uncompress the multi-volume archive (open zip_files.zip.001 first)

You can read the README text file in the attachment for more information.

I have also attached the executable and the needed library (.dll) file to this post.

If you need a working copy of the source code to this software, you need to login to GitHub and access the following repository: https://github.com/pradeepanchan/auto_maint_serv.git

    Comments are welcome.

I hope you find it helpful.

Pradeep, it would be better if you merge these four files into one. A 270 KB file is not a big file by any standard. Also, I'm using winRAR and I couldn't extract it, even after renaming as you said.

you can not extract it by winrar, because it is a "multi volume archive", i.e. a lot of files are kept in one folder and then zipped and the single zip file is further split into several files, by a software, to use it you have to again combine it by the software used originally to split it.

the reason is limited attachment size of xbhp, even i had faced this problem once earlier.

but dude, i have the 7-zip software, still the program is not running. it gives a message that a particular dll file is missing.

There's already an app already available (that's for Android ofcourse)

This one seems to fulfill most of the needs like...
        - tracking fuel expenses & FE
        - tracking service expenses
        - prediction for upcoming services intervals based on parts, refuels
        - All the more, the s/w displays in charts

The website had a limit of 90kilobytes per zip file.

You probably can't use Winrar because these compression softwares have their own splitting format.

          I created the multi-volume archive using 7-zip.

the dll file might be cygboost_date_time.dll

I did pack that in the archive. If its there, then you need to place it in the same folder as the auto_serv.exe file.

Let me know if you face any further issues.

i did not note down the name of dll file it was asking, but it was asking for a file that was missing, yes there was a dll file already in your pack, but it was asking for a different file.

                  and please use multiquotes.
