Wired.com has news about a phone app (iOS and Android) for race track enthusiasts - Race Sense. It uses all the sensors in your smartphone - GPS, compass, accelerometer, inclinometer - to provide information that you can use to better your lap times. Moto2 racer Anthony West has provided real world inputs to the app development. It is intended to be a paid app and will be be available on the app stores and Play stores soon.
