Hey, u now got me scratching my heads for my mistake...
either it;s a doctored speedo,
or while blasting I changed gear sub-consciously
or I need better spectacles.....

has to be one of the last two cause lol

still, I have a 1% doubt......request more feedbacks from esteem owners who occasionally drive on highways....(I think I'll make a seperate thread for this...)

by the way sachin, no need to refer as "that scaryskulls esteem"
it wasn't my car...otherwise would have clarified my doubts right now...

Ok just now had a drive in a friend's esteem...(completely stock this time)
this was some other friend's car

I don't know whether I'm mad or outright blind regarding the speedo...
but, by god, again saw around 155 in third gear....

Will now check some other friends esteem in the coming days....

117 -118 on plusar 150....
130 on maruti 800...
110 on CBZ....(friends)..
128 on pulsar 180/...(friends)..
145 on scorpio...

an mpfi esteem should do atleast 150+ in third gear. 60 in first and 110 in second.

BTW, do any of u guys have a zen diesel? whats the maximum speed in each gear???
i have done 40 in first, 70 in second,105 in third, 155 in fifth dint try the maximum in fourth gear

the bloody owners manual says 30 in first,50 in second ,90 in third and 120 in fourth are the max speeds in each gear. Am i over revving my engine???

Hi Guys..
I did 125+ on my CBZ with out any mods
172 on my Accent
132 on my earlier 800' (1998 model)
and recently did 220 kmph on my FAZER 600

i am not a 4 wheeler driver but had a short stint with zen:100kmph
on yamaha 135 : 98kmph
pulsar150 : 115kmph
cbz : 100kmph (i just couldn't take it further i dont know why , i was bent down)
pulsar180 Dtsi: 75 kmph(running in)

110-115 kmph on my CBZ
160+ kmph in my Honda City 1.3
150+ kmph in my Corolla(new car waiting to let her loose!!)
