    i hope the DUKE 690 get launched in India in the next couple of years
    i just love that beauty.. naked bikes i love..
    would be able to buy one ride myself by then.. ahh.. so many wishes

      Need suggestion from people who have an idea. I am planning for my next bike, which would be a 600cc bike. I just love my D200, and from whatever I read, D690 retains the maniacal nature of D200. It is mad and freaking fast.

      Any one has any idea, if D690 will be launched in India, and since it is a single cylinder naked, will it be any cheaper than Ninja 650? Also, will this bike be made in India like D200, D390?

      Even if this bike is priced at around 4 lacs on-road, Mumbai (+25000), I shall book the bike.

        i think it will take them a couple of years before they launch this.. first was D200 then a year later D390, the D690 and the RC390 are in line next (if KTM has big plans for India)
        as for pricing, it would be around 4-4.5L.. by looking at how they priced the d390, it seems like whenever they launch the D690, it would also be priced aggressively..

        ps: i mailed ktm regarding the same and got this in the reply..
        "We would like to inform you that there are no plans of launching the KTM 690 Duke in India."
        maybe if the D390 is a big success, only then they might this for the D690.. till then, ride your D200

          Well Drooling has been a everyday activity for me. The most drool is towards the humble beast RE Bullet. I have made the biggest mistake of selling my 66 cast iron bull. Though I was a college student who drove a bullet like RX100. I literally bleed it to death. Now a humble rider. I have once again fallen in love with the beast.

          Apart from the beast I love the MT01 & Pulsar 150 1st generation(Single spark plug).

                Not a day pass by with regrets of selling my bull. But what to do she was in a bad shape and I was a foolish kid. Anyway I don't know whether it is a G2 engine . It was brought in auction from Military by the previous owner. Then repainted and sold to me.
