It might help if xbhp starts matchmaking.

This is the perfect answer I must say till the time I get married, I will have the entire day to spend in the forum, but once I am married, I don't think I will get this much time.. only during office hours it is possible... never the less, like you said. spend time with family and they won't mind you spending some time in the forum

P.S: The word "Balance" is a tricky one though

If single, start dating a bikerni

If engaged, get her an Activa

If married, needless to say, you are a "True Biker"

hahahahahaha.. my mom doesn't care.. my fiance knows how crazy I am over bikes and touring.. Also, never came across any such situations with my fiance though she knows I am addicted to xBhp on seeing the logo on my Black Pearl and on seeing Taptalk on both my phones with xBhp forum in it

maybe after marriage the bombs might burst I have heard her saying enjoy all you can I am still trying to figure out if that was a warning or a message or just a formal information.. either ways, I am doooooomed

I spend more time on forum, when I am in the office rather than home, so no question

    PS: Dangerous solution...

When my gal gets cross over me spending too much time on the forum I have two tactics to calm her down..

    1. If I am on the R25/RC390 thread : "Hey look at this cool bike. I was thinking of this as our next one". Then start praising the bike and explaining the features to distract her.
    2. If I am in the tourer section : "Hey look at this cool place. I was thinking of this as our next trip". Then start praising the place and making an imaginary itinerary.

P.S : This doesn't mean that they work all the time though

Ladies vs xBhp - a discussion!

    Folks,

How do you handle when ladies (sister, girl friend, wife or mother) react to your (over) spending time on the forum? When they say they wish you talked to them more and less with internet biker buddies?
Not that women in my family completely bar me from browsing through the forum, but they do get very cross seeing me here all the time.

I'm sure many of you would have faced a similar situation. How did you handle it?

    1. Tips?
    2. Tricks?
    3. Advice.
Working...
