Is it just me, or is the quality if new members really cringe-worthy?
I mean look at all what bike queries and the replies for that matter.
    All look like posers.

We should and must do to stop this motorcycling community from becoming a site for glory hunters and posers, who want to pretend to be cool by using words like byk, and bragging about how they raced xyz motorcycle on the roads, in terribly punctuated sentences.

We can, should and must take steps to warrant this inflow of scum into the community. What actions, well, thats for us to debate and decide. Your 2 cents are welcome.

    Hey Hyper

Though i do agree with you that there is a sudden influx of members who can be termed 'posers' by most xBhpians. But if you look back at the history of xBhp, this has happened frequently.

The Posers of today are the responsible, informed, respected motorcyclists of tomorrow. The reason these guys change from being posers to real bikers are because they get a chance to interact and learn online and offline with seasoned motorcyclists who have ridden far more than they have spoken!

If we at xBhp are not willing to help out, educate and better these young riders then we would have lost the plot. We advocate safe riding, motorcycling as a lifestyle and promoting the culture of biking in the country. Nobody gains by preaching to the choir!

Lastly, i would like to add that most of our 'senior' xBhpians were 'posers' once upon a time. Only with exposure and experience have they become motorcyclists who inspire others.

Cheers and have a great day

EDIT: If you ever get a chance to meet and interact with the young 'uns, you will be surprised to see the number of bikers who will say the same thing. What they were before and what they have become after xBhp became an integral part of their motorcycling lives.

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city
