During our past various cross-country ride, whenever we’d visited Ahmedabad, we’ve been greeted by a lot of passionate bikers belonging to various different clubs apart from our own xBhpians. One among them is Paarth Thakkar from Gun Riders Motorcycle Club. Paarth has always been there to support xBhp rides and has joined us along with the rest of his gang whenever we have organized a ride in Ahmedabad. Paarth is also always accompanied by his wife, Saumya. Saumya herself is deeply in love with the bikes and that is why she never let go of any chance to ride with Paarth. While talking to them during one such meet, we got to know a few more interesting things about Saumya and her various talents that we thought we must share with xBhpians here.
Saumya Pandya Thakkar is known for inventing various techniques in art as well as in sector of fitness. She has recently created what is claimed to be Ahmedabad's first permanent 3D Street Art at Kankaria Lake during Kankaria Carnival. She has also done World's First Aqua Shadow Painting Show at Kankaria Lake besides exhibiting her art in approximately 30 shows across the country.
Saumya's creations were praised by many celebrities, including PM Narendra Modi, Actor Darshan Jariwala, and renowned dancer Mallika Sarabhai, etc. There has also been widespread coverage of her work in the leading publications, including The Times Of India, Mirror, Divyabhaskar, DNA, Radio Mirchi, AAJ TAK, DoorDarshan & many more.
Apart from her works of art, she also handles a health club and dance studio for ladies and kids with her mother in Ahmedabad. Her health club is famous for its unique musical exercise regime among its members. She has also been admired by clients for introducing heritage games to reduce weight.
Her husband, Paarth Thakkar who is a passionate biker himself, came to marry her on Biker Barat, which was First of its kind in Gujarat.
Apart from all this, she has also been group champion in many intra and inter club swimming competitions of Ahmedabad and stood first in the state level swimming championship. She has also done various events to build "love for nature" through exhibitions and competitions in public.

About 3D Painting:
Saumya is currently displaying her 3D Camera at Gujarat University Convention Hall during International Photo Video Trade Fair-15. The painting contains Huge Camera,Iron Man & Memory Cards.
Saumya Pandya Thakkar was approached by AMC to create something unique during Kankaria Carnival 2014. Thus she has recently created Ahmedabad's First Permanent 3D Street Art at Kankaria Lake Gate-3, Maninagar.
Invented Bubble Painting:
Saumya has always been fascinated by rainbow colours of bubble. Her dream made her invent the new technique in world of art in 2013. She has processed the chemicals and created bubbles which are very firm that anyone can touch it and it will stay firm even after hanging the artwork on wall. She has created vintage watches and Dubai city using this technique.
Introduced Aqua Shadow Painting:
Saumya introduced Shadow Paintings on World's Environment Day at Kankaria Lake in 2014.This was the First Shadow Painting Show of Gujarat. This invention is visible to general public in huge format. These paintings are transparent due to their aqua effects that people could hardly see the artwork but after giving spot light to it, approx. 30 feet huge shadow of the painting occurs. She created Siddi Saiyad ni Jali and rare animals of Gujarat using shadow technique. This creation has been applied for Limca Book of Records recently.
Customization:
She has also created theme based rooms including painted furniture, Staircases, Walls, Partitions, Glasses, Doors etc.
Save Nature Drive:
As the part of "Save Nature Drive", she organizes Art Exhibitions and competitions on World's Environment Day every year.
