Dragonball Z, I used to watch in my childhood. Not anymore, not much time, plus no idea which channel shows it now.

I really like the Japanese anime, Slam Dunk. In fact, it motivated me towards being a good basketball player. It had a character, Hanamichi Sakuragi who is rejected by 50+ girls in elementary school, and the last girl rejected him for a basketball player. Then he joins a high school Shohoku High, with his gang of 4 guys. He falls in love with a girl but she's the sister of a third year basketball team captain, Takenori Akagi, who is called Gorilla due to his huge size and strength. But this girl likes another basketball player, Rukawa Kaeda, an Ace player with excellent skills. Hanamichi in an attempt to defeat Kaeda, joins the basketball club and with a good height, good jump, but poor game skill, results in some really hilarious moments and accidents, as Shohoku's team approaches National tournaments for the first time in years, because they end up with a good team this time.

Its entirely based on a comic series, and it has 101 episodes. English dubbed are there. I love it.

Another passtime anime, I used to watch was Kochikame. It comes on Hungama channel, hindi dubbed. Its about a Police Station..

Has anyone watched Slam Dunk? I think Kochikame is the one which many must have seen.

I didn't watch slam dunk but when I was in class 2 my dad gifted me a slam dunk pencil box.I would definitely watch it as I heard a lot about it.I was more into sword and sci Fi anime.
There is another anime movie called 5 centimeters per second.its a beautiful anime movie about a couple who fall in love but the guy being busy with his life and then starts loosing everything.very emotional one .
So far the best anime movie I saw was Final Fantasy Advent children.I think I have watched it over 60 times in full HD because of its unbelievable quality.I can say that till date there is still no anime which can match the graphics of it.I just love it and i urge people to watch it once and this anime is amazing quality with excellent story line and one crazy multi sword.

My all time favourites are Deathnote and Naruto.

A few lesser known anime I really liked:
1. Attack on Titans --> This is on a different level all together! Gives Game of Thrones competetion on its shock value
2. Monster --> Some serious dark stuff going on here.
3. Shiki --> Nice horror anime

Ninku was to me one of the best I have seen, especially the short guy Fuuske and the penguin Hiroyuki which farts.
