    Legal Yamaha R1: Available 2nd hand for immediate delivery

    One of the 2008 Yamaha R1s which were used in the India roadtrip is up for sale. It had done 15,000k, has been serviced 4 times in this. Front and rear tyre in decent condition (rideable for at least 4000kays more, got both of them changed at 10k). New air and oil filter. Bought from official Yamaha dealer in Delhi in September 2008, warranty and insurance still holds for a good deal of time.

    No problem with the bike whatsover. The bike will be delivered in Castrol colors and can be repainted by the buyer in 15-20k id desired.

    Asking price 8.5 Lacs, Non negotiable (its a legal and almost a brand new bike after all!)

    All cash in WHITE only by cheque.

    Delivery only after payment is realized. No installment options. Will be available for a dekko in Delhi after 23rd April.

    Brilliant! How I would have LOVED to get my hands on the 'One, if not for the damn 'recession' et al. Rs.8.5 lakhs for 15,000kms. old R1 is a good price. More than the price, the thing to notice here is that it is a LEGAL motorbike, which is THE most important factor in deciding on a SBK!

    Anyhow, I strongly believe someone from xBhp SHOULD pick it up pronto!

    P.S: Neither do I have Rupees Eight Hundred and Fifty Thousand!

      Why cash wouldn't workk..!!

        So that there is a legal transaction record for the sale. Also cheque would mean that the money was kept in a bank a/c and unless the bank is a swiss bank, there is very high chance that the money is white !!

        Also, so that you can mention to the IT Dept if necessary, how there is suddenly a surplus of 8.5 lakhs in your bank account !!
        Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
        Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

            It was a good deal but sadly, about 3 L's more than my budget. Anyways, forget it.

            Is it sold now? Sunny bhai or Any moderators please shed some light?
