The motive of this project is to combat and rid the environment from pollution which is increasing day by day. Sadly, one of the biggest contributors to pollution are automobiles. We are final year students studying mechanical engineering and considering the above we decided to do something about it, to create a contrivance. It was also a part of our academics and so we discussed it with our faculties and mentors in order to get a direction to proceed in. Finally, the solution came from one of our partner, Swapnil Jadhav, who's father has 40 years of experience in the filed of automobiles. He was a motocross rider himself and he creates his own machines explicitly for the race.
Our planning actually started a year back and we have been mulling over the details since then. But the actual build was completed in a period of 2 months. The total amount that was invested in this project was INR 1,20,000/-. We did not take any kind of financial help from any firm or brand in order to carry out this project. Our parents backed us up and did not lose their faith in us after they saw our way of thinking and our plan of implementing those thoughts. Usually, you'll see students of IITs and NITs taking up these kind of projects but we were working on it fro a Polytechnic level. That made our parents believe in us even more and they did not back down from the investments.
We initially planned to add a solar panel to the car as well but due to financial constraints, we were not able to do so. If they government takes a look at our project and provides us with some financial allowance, we'll be able to add a solar panel to it too.
