    Post Graduate courses in Automotive Engg or Aerospace Engg

    Guys,

    I have a friend who's done his Mechanical engineering and is now looking for a post graduate course in either Automotive or Aerospace Engg. Could any of you suggest a good university/college and the course to go for?

      Best way is to write GATE, pass with high percentile and then hunt for top notch institutes and courses.

        Here is a list of courses in India:
        1)2 to 2.5 yr PG course at NID(National Institute of Design) Ahmedabad in Transportation and Automobile Design(involves sketching,rendering and styling of automobiles).
        2) Same course at MIT Pune, IIT Powai also.

        For the same courses abroad and India:
        Chk the below link
        Car Design Schools - Car Body Design

        There are other options as well, like study of Motorcycle dynamics, design and tuning(some Motogp technicians have done these courses)
        Colleges like Swansea Metropolitan University, UK; Brunell University UK offer these course and they are the best uni's for these in the world...

          if he is interested in going abroad mabbe he can try courses at Germany too. Universities like Ingolstadt, Esslingen offer courses in automobile engineering. But the applicant might have to take a German Level 1 Certification.

          Also there is a PG course available at Vellore Institute of Technoloigies(VIT) in automobile engineering
          the pathless path to the knowable unknown
