It all happened that i luckily got a pass for the test match in mumbai n decided to grab the oppurtunity. Coincidently, my friend happens to be a member of the Mumbai Ranji team. But dint go to churchgate on the devil 2day. My pass was the upper garware pavilion where all celebs happen to take sit n there i was amidst all marathi actors..Atul Parchure, Ramesh Bhatkar n so on....Also the press n commentators box was beside me, so always, chaps like Dean jones, Barry richards, Mike Slater, Manjrekar, Sivramakrishnan, 3rd umpire Hariharan, Ref.Madugalle, etc used to come in n out...& for the first time in my life i got the chance to shake my hands with these bigwigs n take autographs!!! Really awesome moments, but missed em all as i dint hv a cam!!
. Barry uncle is an oldie, but the wives of Deano n Barry were reallly sexxxxxxxyyy...The Aussie Media manager was a stud wid sum gr8 biceps, chest n hot looks!! he impressed me for sure.
Also there, commentating for channel 9 radio was the one n only...Harsha Bhogle!!! the interaction with him n Merv Hughes was again very very magical n enigmatic indeed!!
The match took its toll on us, the ups n downs were obvious n suddenly in the afternoon, the sexy Mandira Bedi steppped in the man-o-man the atmosphere became so hot!! MAnnnnn..she is reallly sexy n has a real good figure...we all collegians just stoppped lookin at the match n got diverted by her.
Also, met the legendary Erapalli Prasanna as he also took seat beside me!! Never ever in my life did i expect to meet or rather just see so many celebs in real life n tht too for such on occasion.Truly very very mind boggling indeed..........
India won the match, i came bck home, but for the first time i saw an entire day of test without a single replay n it was all worth the pass...which also was free!!
back home in parle, it was nice to meet ol' friends n ofcourse my devil!! N now when i see the replays i come to know....wt a historic match it was. Also 9 of the current aussie lot wont be touring nxt time around in 2010. so it was also a gr88 farewell for em n us.
The best compliment by an aussie fan was.." gr8 atmosphere n whatta match...m not gonna forget this one mate!!"
