      • The price looks impressive because of the os bundled with it Pretty good deal if you are more of a unix user.

Anyways, no idea about the build quality/support for samsung laptops. Never seen one in flesh.

              • ^@haxor- are you still surfing net on laptop through WIFI? if not, are you using dialer to connect to the internet?
if yes, then you need to change it from bridge to PPPOE mode.
if no,the there might me some other problem maybe within the IPOD itself, I have nokia e65 which has WIFI i never got to get that damn thing work on my phone because WIFI on the phone was at fault.

                • Hi, I own an Acer Aspire 5742G
                  Intel core i5-430M processor
                  15.6" HD LED LCD
Nvidia GeForce GT420M 1 GB CUDA
                  3 GB DDR3 Ram
                  500GB HDD

Of late, my laptop has started heating up a lot ! Especially when I play games. It is kinda fine if I keep it on two books so the base is not on the table.
And my games have started hanging if I play for more than 10 mins. Even Fifa 11 and Resident Evil 5 that used to run smoothly for hours earlier.
Will a laptop fan (the USB one) help ? It's not dust inside or anything.

                    how old is your laptop...
me facing the same problem... Mine is over 2 years old...
I think getting the fan inside the laptop cleaned should solve the issue.
                    RIP Marco

also do they provide a genuine Win 7 DVD along with lappy? i was told that they provide a WIN 7 DVD along...not sure whether genuine or pirated...
Go for Lenovo Z460 . Cost you 34K
Config: Intel I-3 , 4 GB ram , 14 inch screen , DOS (they will install Windows 7 ultimate for free (off course pirated )

Pros: Chiclet keyboard gives a Mac feeling .
                      Very light weight and portable

Cons: Speakers are claimed to be Doby surround speakers but I felt it is just the normal speackers like all other laptops.

                        • hoping for a quick reply

                          Hi Guys,

Planning to build an amd rig, however was planning to get MB and Processor first. I currently have a ancient setup with Intel 845 MB. Is it possible just to change MB, Processor and Ram on the current cabinet. I am planning this coz i am planning to get rest of the things later.

Main question are cabinets board specific or any MB can be fit on any case.

                          Thanks guys

                          • not necessarily. cabinet sizes vary like micro atx, atx tower etc.. but most home-use mobos fit for micro-atx ones.

anyway, the cabinet doesn't cost much, unless you're planning to get something fancy.

In case you ever plan to install a GPU, do not buy a cabinet that comes with a PSU. those PSU's suck.

For that setup, personally, I would go for a Corsair VX450 at around rupees 3.2K. It's officially rated at only 450W, but as any computer enthusiast knows Corsair has a tendency to underrate the the power ratings, unlike Cooler Master who does the opposite and bloats the actual power that their PSUs can supply. Further information on the VX450 can be found here Corsair VX450
and for the Cooler Master Extreme Power 500 Plus Cooler Master Extreme Power 500

At the lower end there's the Corsair CX430 for around 2.2K. Further reading on it at Corsair CX430
