First of Get the Price of petrol Right Dude it is almost 48 Rs Not Rs44 read some news no offence the prices have increased on a 1litlre of Normal Petrol you will be getting around 1.05L i usually fill for Rs100 and get around 2.11L. Yes these guys do have there own tricks to fool you if you are in a bike ask them to fill the Fuel slow and always keep a hand on your Tank you will know if actually it is being filled.(This works sometimes but usually these guys don't fill in slow speeds) Also petrol evaporates quickly

Also i know someone who works in BPCL in a good Post all there bunkers will be getting the new Automatic Computerized Fueling Machines These are tamper proof and the Computer will calculate how much Fuel can be filled and right quantity.

I fill my petrol only from 1 person who is father of Martyr Army Officer. He doesn't involve in Strikes so i filled up my Petrol Today also.

Now Here is some Info on the High Quality Fuel that these Firms sell, This is straight from a guy who works in BPCL. He told me there is no difference in normal fuel and high octane just cleansing Agent difference so he told me whenever you go to service just before that fill The tank with Speed or any high octane fuel and your engine will be good after service don't use it comeback to Normal Petrol.

Well I know that the bottle can contain a bit more than 2 liters of fluid. That's why I had asked him to fill petrol for Rs90 only which means that I should be getting exact 2 liters of fuel. I was charged Rs100 for that fuel, which I think was not right.

Anyways, I'm not gonna fuel up at that bunk from now on. There are 2 bunks which are about 3 kms away from my place but at least I would get the satisfaction that I'm getting what I'm paying for.
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

HOW PETROL PUMP CHEATS YOU MUST READ, Aug 2013

HOW PETROL PUMP CHEATS YOU MUST READ

It is regarding the Short delivery of Petrol / Diesels at pump.
I visited the mentioned pump for fueling on 2nd Aug 2013, and was cheated with Short delivery of Petrol, here is how it works.

The fueling machine at this pump dont have a preset cutout of values for other than multiples of hundreds.
Initially i asked for 200 inr petrol but filling guy said take it of 240 inr would be approximately 3 liters, i agreed said okay.
So the delivery guy did not set value of 240 inr in machine instead shown Zero before delivery, now started filling fuel but at 200 inr he stopped and then again went from 200 inr to 240 inr i suspected the thing, paid the amount and looked at bike fuel odometer reading which hardly shown any change.
Here i suspected the thing and asked for quantity test, which they simply refuses saying concern authorities not available at moment.

So basically tick for cheating is as follows.
        1. Let say If customer ask for 500 inr fuel, they dont set auto cutout at 500 inr also machine says preset not available, so they simply starts filing at would stop somewhere around 200-300 inr and then again starts filling from that point to requested amount 500 inr, they so this knowingly.
        2. So the catch here is the 1st fueling from 0 to 200 -300 inr where he stops no fuel is delivered, where as in 2nd fueling from 200-500 inr the fuel is delivered, so simply scammed for more than 200 inr!.
        3. Now though you go to pump and ask for quantity test or take a 1 liter standard bottle and request 1 liter petrol it would be delivered exactly, but in case if you ask them to do above trick by lets saying for 1 liter filling i.e 77 inr approx, 1st fuel to 50 inr & then from there to 77 inr you will come to know how you been scammed.
        4. Any pump found in such malpractice following pumps should be sealed and license should be cancelled.

            But never went in detail.

But yes this thing is completely True. !
