
2) Unbolt the side shield, first with hex key

3) And on the other side of the shield with a star screw driver

4) And just pull the shield and it comfortably comes out

5) Repeat the same on the other side

6)It should look somewhat like this once they are removed

7) With a star screw drivers remove the screws from the filter cover

8) Now remove this small pipe on the side of the filter

9) Remove the cover

10) Now the filter

11) Wipe the place where the filter sits with a dry cloth

12) Tap out the extra dust

13) With the help of a blower just clean it up by blowing through the mesh part (Not as shown in the picture)

14) Place it back

15) Put the lit back too

16) Put the screws back in place

17) Put the pipe back in its slot

18) Now put the shields back in place

19) Place them properly in the given slots

20) Now bolt the shields

21) Your throttle should be crisp

22) Its done, the bike is wet because it was just after a rinse that I cleaned the filter, hope its a good tutorial. Suggestions welcomed.




]. With that rubber thing in place, removing/refitting the filter cover was tricky.
