    FINALLY....... Got it working

    Hi Guys,
Here is the circuit that got it going. After so many days of R&D got it to work. I am posting the circuit diagram here. Most of it is self explanatory.
This circuit even worked on stock bulbs, led & bulbs combination.

Have added an updated circuit at the above post in Lighting section.
Am also posting the same here with a video of flashing circuit.

      Hi Janesh,
Whats the blue thing in the box?...

        Hi Prashant,
The blue thing is a relay, which is used to connect the 12v supply from battery to the blinker circuit, so when relay goes on-off-on-off, the leds give the flashing.
Please check the updated drawing above as the one in the video is just a test circuit.

          Hi Janesh,
thnx for the xtra mile info..
I tried using the existing relay(2-pin relay) with the circuit, but didn't worked.
I am testing it with an adapter 12v 500mA rating.

              Hi Prashant,

What i understand is you used the STOCK relay from your bike with the circuit - is that correct ?

Could you assemble the 555 timer circuit - if yes, you need to connect a DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) relay. Connect pin 3 and ground to the coil of the relay, it should give ticking sound.

This circuit replaces your stock bulb which is 21W x 21W (Front &Rear). This circuit does not require additional flashing circuit as it will flash using the activa's flasher circuit.
I solved this issue by soldering a low-power (2W) bulb parallel to LED setup.

                    Hi Janesh,
I got the circuit working even without using the relay.
Just connect one set of LED betwn pin 1 & 3 & other betwn pin 3 & 8. Make the resistor betwn pin 4 & 7 of lesser value as compared to resistor betwn pin 6 & 7. I haven't implemented this on my bike but it works.
                    thanks.

Sounds good. R u still using stock relay ?

Yeah, still using stock flasher, but on FZ Our old-school flashers are load dependent

                          Cracked the mystery again

Soldered a 10W resistor in parallel to the LED setup. Mine flasher is a 10W x 2 + 3.4W one. Working like charm.

                              Diode ?

Bro, what diode are you mentioning. There are diodes at two places. The diodes at the input + ve from blinker switch are necessary as it prevents reverse voltage which would then light up both the indicators.

Hey i hav changed all the 4 indicators to led. But facing a new problem, if i turn on any indicator (left or right) all the four indicators are turned on. I m aware that the blinker is load dependent so they wont blink but why the indicators of both the sides are being turned on.
Cud this bcoz of the low power consumption of the leds ??
                                Any idea ?
                                Help !!
