    you can find it on TV LCD layers... its name LCD Inverter layer... when you remove the original inverter layer on your lcd then your lcd will be blank nothing shown on LCD but when you put the inverter layer you will be able to see what the lcd shown..

              I don't think any component gets 5V as an input. All the components run on 12V, as there is no 12V to 5V module fitted anywhere.
