    Cheapest tank bag!

    I wanted to buy a tank bag for my bike for obvious reasons,but it turned to be a little expensive and I don't have extensive use of it.So went searching around house,found an ideal bag.
    Find/Buy an ordinary back pack bag with small dimensions,but have some pockets on it.
    Put the bag on tank,smaller part of the bag nearer to the seat.
    Remove the straps from hooks and fix it under the tank crosswise.Check out the pic for better understanding.

    Use some kind of chord to tie the handle of back pack to the frame!

    So before buying expensive accessories think about a better and cheap way!

        Hey nice jugaad there. Should work for short one day rides.

        Longer tours will however require an actual tank bag with a much larger cubic capacity.

          This is a nice piece of work.
          Must refine it with a good way to fill petrol
          and the straps should not burn under the tank.
          I know now wat to do with the free back i get form conferences.

            Yeah,I fill petrol for 200 bucks,it last real long so no worries,splendor!
            Straps can be cut,in my case already short.
            For Longer tours bigger back packs might do.
            One demerit is that we can't turn the handle bar completely to left easily for locking it.Some force required.

              Straps are really short,no worry.Its splendor,so long intervals only visiting petrol bunks!Only demerit is that when handle bar is turned to left completely,bag automatically presses the horn,and I look around wondering from where the sound came!

                Nice!! If you got a magnet, maybe use that too, to provide further support to the bag, in case cords aren't keeping it snug. I've got a speaker magnet lying around, hence this idea came . Not sure how effective it will be. Will try on my next ride.
