Tools used: Allen Key and 4-head screwdriver.
Step 1: On the right side panel, open the screws marked by the arrow in the picture given.
Step 2: Gently pull the panel out
Step 3: Open the screws marked with the help of Allen key.
Step 4: Open the flap.
Step 5: This is your filter, pull it out.
Step 6: Ninja uses a foam filter; procedure to clean it would be the same as with any other foam filter.
Step 7: Put in a new/clean filter.
Step 8: Put everything back in place and you are ready to roll.
