First and foremost, leverage an appropriately sized T socket wrench against the marked cut out where the socket it supposed to be fixed, and gently tap the T wrench with a hammer till the cut out piece breaks off after which you would need to remove the two screws holding the battery cover in place, then move onto the 4 bolts holding the boot in place.
After that's done with, you would need to remove the tank cover as well, once the tank cover is off, pull the boot upward from the tank cover side.

Once that's done, insert the socket in its place and then use two screws to fix it.

Now there would be a female plug taped to the wiring using a grey coloured tape, peel the tape off and free the plug. Once free, connect it to the charger socket's male plug.

Once that's done, reverse the removal procedure and fix everything back.

The socket it powered only when the ignition is turned on.
