Over the past few months ,my aprilia was being rarely ridden and whenever it was out, it was ridden hard.
Post the break in the engine oil had been changed twice but the main thing that bothered me was the fact that the SVC used normal lubrication oil as the gearbox oil or I even suspected it was used oil.
Nevertheless I took it up as a chance to get to know the bike better and bought the necessary things.
This is what you will need for the gearbox change (desi way /low budget)-
1- motul gearbox 80w90 oil
2- 50ml syringe without Needle.
3- plastic bag and pot to collect the old oil.
4- 6 or 8mm Allen key

The first bolt to open is the top feeder bolt then the drain bolt

Above image is the feeder bolt which also had oil coming out.
Once all the oil is out ,I added 50 ml and let it cycle out while rotating the wheel.
Once satisfied that all the old oil is out . I filled her with 110ml as suggested in the manual of beautiful golden oil. Sealed both bolts and let the engine idle with frequent low speed rear wheel revving to get the oil set before a test drive .
Below is images of the old oil , been in the bike for 3000kms since birth and 8-9months approx.

Thank you all for reading, hope this is helpful.
Now I'm gonna go on to my next problem, to be solved by SVC - oil in the air filter box.
