I just got a 2011 Model Hyosung GT650R... problems is that i got it transported it from hyderabad to Agartala, Tirpura and the idiots have drops the bike very bad.. the clutch cover is a bit broken and handle bar was broken i had repaired it all on my own ordering things online.. not the bike runs with no oil leakage... i have no clue how they managed to break the clutch cover without breaking the faring should be a Guiness record... i want to kill them anyway but not possible..

The problems i face now are the the following pls help me out.
    1. Head light is very very bad
    2. The throttle response is off the chart 2nd gear is it ok to reach 94 kmph? i have not completely throttled it.
    3. The engine heats faster than i can think off and the air filter fan is not spinning.
    4. The Exhaust outlet heats as soon as the engine starts is it ok? i have burnt my finger trying to fix the starter motor since i couldn't find most of the parts
    5. Forgot i had to repair the Starter motor also.. it was completely burnt but got parts from an old generator and now its fine... costs only Rs 150 max including Carbon Brush.

Ok,quite a few questions here.first off,how old is ur baby?

What dobu mean the headlight is very bad,do u mean it was already bad or is it worse than before.Could b a bad battery or a bad lamp/ dirty lens.Practically all electrical problems on Hyosungs can be put down to the Regulator/ rectifier.
Check the output on the stator wires.you hv 3 wires coming out from stator and going to the RR.check voltage between 1/2,2/3 and 1/3.they shud all read close to 70 VDC when u rev the bike at around 5000rpm.if all show 70 VDC then ur stator is ok.check voltage coming to battery. In case RR is bad change to new one.

      2. Heat fan i assume u mean radiator fan not working. The fan relay shud be there right next to the headlight relay.interchange them and check if the headlight is working.if it does then ur relay is ok.
Remove the wire plugded in the bottom of the radiator to the thermoswitch.take a pin and short this connection. If u can hear tick tick sound of the relay, then the connection till the thermoswitch is ok. Check if the fan is free to rotate.if it is,then there is a relay just under ur tank on the left side that is connected to the fan.It is probably this relay that needs replacing.u can remove the power connection of the fan and directly connect it to a 12 volt battery and check if the fan works.

Hi.I had posted a reply to this thread but dunno where it disappeared.Been trying to locate it for the last half hr[emoji16].
Anyways, coming to ur problems,I assume u bought the bike 2nd hand so u will need to check the condition of the stator and regulator rectifier.99% of ur electrical problems will b sorted after this replacement.

1.bad headlight cud mean bad lamp, bad reflector, bad battery .
Check all the above first.check battery voltage when engine is running.see if it shows atleast 14.5 volts.Next check the inputs to the regulator rectifier(RR) from the stator.this has 3 yellow wires.check voltage between all three wires,ie: 1/2,2/3 & 1/3. They should all show around 70 VAC when bike running at 5000 rpm.if all three show 70 VAC, Then ur stator is ok.next to this connection, there is the RR output going to the battery.Check the output here.It shud be atleast 14.5 VDC.If not, u need to change the RR.U can buy a same shit from hyosung or u can shell out some quality money and buy a superb one from Roadstercycle.com
I changed my RR,the day bike came out of warranty and I hv never faced any of the hyosung electrical tantrums.check my Hyosung ST7 thread for more details.

2.it is quite normal to reach that speed on 2nd gear.

3.Engine shud not heat that fast.but wud depend on ambient temperature.Check ur coolant levels.if the engine does heat,u shud get a high temp light on ur dashboard.there is no air filter fan.the fan u r talking about is the radiator cooling fan.check if the fan is free to move by hand.then check the fan relay.it shud b next to the headlight relay.interchange the relays and check ur headlight,if it works that means relay is ok.
Next remove the wire connection going to the thermoswitch at the bottom of the radiator.short the connection.if u can hear the relay going tick tick then connection till the thermoswitch is ok.next, remove the black power connection to the fan.connect fan directly to a 12 volt battery and see if it actually works.if it runs then ur fan is ok.now below ur fuel tank on the left side there shud b a relay connected to the fan wiring. It is a long thin relay.this is most probably the problem.it is not available in the market.u might hv to buy from hyosung.costs around 880 Rs.
If ur fan does not start then ur coolant will boil and overflow from the overflow pipe at the bottom.do not run ur bike in yhis condition as u will **** up the engine!
        4. Exhaust will heat up in 3 to 4 mins which is quite normal.

Excuse any spelling mistakes as im typing on my phone[emoji1].
        All the best.
