  • Hero Impulse Upgrade

My impulse engine went kaput (cams in particular) last year after surviving my riding for what I am guessing is close to 3L km (as my speedo wire got damaged by the front tyre during my first cross country ride).

Now the plan is to open the engine and start with the upgrades. I am not sure how successful I am going to be, but I am still going to try and learn, later share the process.

Note: I will include all possible upgrades/changes I do, both cosmetic and performance.

        Hello buddy,
How did the process go? I have done this stuff and i can assure you that as long as you record the disassembly process, you will be able to rectify it just fine.
I have recently managed to sieze the block piston of my Hunk and will be opening it this weekend. do let me know if you need any video for the dismantling process.
Just apply commonsense, and you should be able to do it without issues.
Do remember not to crank the engine with out oil. It will destroy the valves as well as block piston.
BTW, i just managed to ride the bike for over 10000 kilometers without any oil in GB . I know how stupid it is but somehow i managed to continue this stupidity for over a year and today i finally destroyed the block piston.
        Lets see how it goes.
