Only changing the spark plug would not increase performance.There are two options.

1. Install a free flow air filter from k&n, up-jet the carb, use an iridium/platinum spark plug, either use a free flow exhaust or de-cat your stock silencer. Also change the sprocketing if needed.

2. The CB Twister produced 9hp and 9 nm from the same engine and it had grunty performance. Considering livo is a detuned replacement for twister, many parts from the twister could be swapped. Honda ASC and other twister owners can provide better details as to what parts are different. And if possible, swap the carb, CDI, camshaft and exhaust from the CB Twister.

Option 1 will decrease your engine life. Option 2 if possible will not have any problems. Both the options will result only in a marginal 1-2hp gain, which definitely would not be satisfactory. AFAIK, the livo has a very smooth, frugal and rev-friendly engine which has good rideability too. Hence IMHO it's not worth spending for performance mods.

Better keep the engine stock & invest in practical mods like, a kill switch, hazard lamps, DC conversion, led headlight, better tyres.... Etc.
