  • R.E. Classic Swing Arm Upgrade

    Hey everyone!
I currently own a classic 350 2016 version with the round tubeular swingarm (pardon me for not knowing the correct term) and have discovered that the current 2019 classic have a different kind of swingarm (an oval one). Did this upgrade make any major difference in handling and swinging the bike on the road, and can I upgrade my swingarm to the newer version.

    Thanks in advance.

      Hai
The current Swingarm in your classic was designed for rear drum brake setup. The newer version of the swingarm is just the one which was already available in the thunderbird. It is was designed for the rear disc brake setup. I would suggest you not to change the swing arms as you have to change a lot of things like rear wheel sprocket, rear wheel hub, disc brake setup including the brake lever (foot) and the rear axle. Your present swing arm is as good as any other so enjoy it.

      Cheers
