Car Oil filters will suit N650..esp., The Santro/ Lancer Oil filter made by Pricol, Santro are direct fit...only difference is that the Pricol oil filter should be only HAND tightened, and no oil spanner to be used.Since the filter is slightly larger it hold more oil than stock, and so 100 to 150ml extra oil should used while replacing oil with this filter...costs about Rs,100/-...I think the KTM chains , the 200cc chain with 114 links is a direct fit..regarding the sprockets better to go with good one..
D.I.D is the preferred sprocket, JT is also suggested, but no active feedback on JT.....Alternatively Rolon had also started making chain and sprocket kits for N650....
There is so far no local replacement for the Air filter...do not try cheaper alternatives, since the Fuel efficiency will become poor and you will have to tank up often..

Tyres

I have 2014 Ninja 650. Around 1000 kms back I replaced stock spec tyres (Pirelli Diablo Corsa 2) with Michelin Pilot Street Radials (Rear 150/60 R17, Front 110/70 R17).
Differences

1. Steering is very light
2. The ride quality has improved greatly (Before it used to be very bouncy on highways). Now it gives a settled ride feeling.
3. No noticeable differences with braking (I am a sedate rider and love to cruise at sane speeds on highways)
4. Costs half the amount of original spec. tire options in India.

For my riding style I get 30+ kmpl efficiency figures on highways. Speeds around (90 to 120 kmph).
Note: My sprocket set up is towards the taller gearing (16 teeth front with 42 teeth rear)

Regarding the 16 front and 42 rear on your ninja650, which brand/bike's sprockets you used?? And also what s the chain brand?? I could use some advice as mine needs to be replaced soon.
