xBhp Forums 2020 : Welcome

Welcome to 2020 Edition of the xBhp Forums . As you might have already noticed, the forums have undergone a major upgrade to keep up with the times. This will make the forums faster and intuitive and much more mobile friendly.

The basic functioning of the forum remains the same.

We are still tightening the loose nuts and bolts and it will take some time.

However, in case you are facing any issues or problems accessing the forums or posting here, please do let us know.

Any feedback/suggestions are also welcome!

The forums definitely look much better now. Kudos to the team working at it!

Some suggestions to improve it:

1. The below image is from Honda CBR 250R ownership experience thread. The text box should be wide enough to accommodate 5 digits at least.
   
2. Search functionality: I searched for "best engine oil" and got 12 pages of results but since the results aren't sorted by relevance, the search functionality doesn't feel very useful. Current sort order is oldest to newest for the matching posts. And looking at the results, the search results seem like posts that are partial matches for the keywords. Adding a "sort by relevance" feature would be ideal.

Don't know if you could fix this "https://www.xbhp.com/talkies/xtracker.php" , but it was of great use to a casual browsing guy like me. I've been using this shortcut link since 2010.

There used to be this "new posts" link which showed all posts since last visit.
Is there a way to get that back?

Hi @mods.. I was trying to upload a picture from my system but it was showing error "Image source URL is missing". Not sure if i am doing something wrong. Could you please look into it.

Go to "Upload" tab, select your image from File selector, then click on "Send to server".
Now the tab will switch to "Image Info" tab. Image URL and Tooltip will be auto updated with "fetchdata xxxxxx"

Click on OK to complete the image upload.

It is there as new topics on the top, those also include posts now . See screenshot ::

For some reason "New Topics" is not visible in my login. See attached screenshot.

It is there as new topics on the top, those also include posts now .

I don't see any "New Topics" tab on the top after logging in. I see only "Member List" and "Calendar" on the top. I feel the 2020 version is not user-friendly. I was more comfortable with the previous version.

Search appears to be completely broken. A Google search result will simply take me to the first post in a thread:



Then, manually searching for the term brings up 0 results.

Hi,

The new version looks really nice and is extremely fast! But an issue I am facing is when I google search for a certain issue, in my example "oil leak from the clutch cover drill hole plug" for dominar 400 I know there exists the exact same wordings on page 191 of the Dominar ownership thread but when I click on the google search result it always takes me to page 1 of the thread. After reaching there when I even manually search "oil leak from the clutch cover drill hole plug" it says "no such results" I had to manually search by sifting through the pages looking at the date in the google search to reach page 191 from June 6 2017. Maybe I'm missing something, I'm not sure, thought I'd share this here

editing posts results in a error "Error information: " 500 error Internal Server Error"
sometimes get an error while posting, but the message is posted.
also noticed that i get logged out at times, especially when opening multiple tabs.
how does one delete their post ?
the older version simply worked.. why tweak something that just worked fine earlier !
