Re: Motul Distributor Updated List (July 12, 2011)
I think you can find shell advance and petronas. I saw advertisement for shell advance on local channel and while i was in teku some fellow were convincing a spare parts shop owner to keep petronas oil for sale.Originally posted by Ishwor View PostThanks bro..There is a guy selling motul 7100 for 2000 rs on hamrobazar but I was looking for ss oil so kept searching on various shops. It is really hard to find synthetic oil of any reputed brand.I searched for gulf, petronas, shell etc but couldnot find any.Rather I found one from zic lubricant with 20w50 grade which price tag of 650 rupees.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy s3

There are plenty of ss and fs petrol car engine oil in the market here in kathmandu but its really hard to get those for bikes.
This thing has always bugged me.Why donot shopkeepers keep bike engine oils.Do they get more comission for car oils?

Don't use car engine oil,it contain friction modifier.Originally posted by Ishwor View PostYes we can get from these brands but they are only mineral. For synthetic and semisynthetic they ask to use car engine oil.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy s3

In kathmandu i think its because of price of FS and SS comparing to mineral one.People just want to run their bike, don't give a shit about performance or life. Most of 'em donno about FS and SS oil so they use only mineral.Only bike enthusiast like us are interested on that matter.Originally posted by Ishwor View PostThere are plenty of ss and fs petrol car engine oil in the market here in kathmandu but its really hard to get those for bikes. This thing has always bugged me.Why donot shopkeepers keep bike engine oils.Do they get more comission for car oils?Sent from my Samsung Galaxy s3Put The Pedal To The Metal

Re: Motul Distributor Updated List (July 12, 2011)
I have never found any kind of difference in performance or engine temp between semi and fs in normal everyday use.
After testing with appropriate data loggers , i am now running my bike on one of the cheapest available car semi and have actually found to be giving lower engine clatter and about 10*c lower head temp.
Fs has never yielded any kind of appreciable difference for the cost it commands. You're never lost if ya don't care where the road is headed

No idea about what they have in stock or even if they stock Motul anymore. You'll obviously need to check out the contact nos.
You can find the list of Motul Outlets by using the Motul Outlet Locator app on their facebook page. You'll find it on a tab in the page.
I think, he keeps some stock of mostly used items, or can arrange the same within a day. If you are in Lucknow or Kanpur or near-by location, call him, tell him your requirements and hopefully you can pick the items on same day or next.
I would share my experience in couple of days, hopefully whole transaction goes smooth (delivery in time, genuine items, etc).

Re: Motul Distributors
I would recommend Massey Ryderz for Motul products, and other stuff. I find he is himself a motorcyclists, and knows about the stuff. The whole transaction of buying some cleaner and lube cans went very smooth with him.Originally posted by tensor View PostI am trying to get Motul Cleaner, Lube and other stuff (shine, tyre-repair) from "Massey Riders".
