  • Help me with cornering

I ride a R15 and I have had worst experience while cornering.. I've had lots of dangerous skids but thankfully never fell down till now. What I do is bend to the opposite side while cornering. Like I am doing cornering while turning right I bend towards left.. Is this method wrong?
Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

Yes. I guess you are referring to high speed turns.By leaning into a curve you can make the bike turn easily. The idea is to keep the bike as upright as possible, by shifting your weight off the saddle into the turn and not against it. Please watch any MOTO GP or Bike racing and you will learn soon. However attempting it VERY DANGEROUS as our street bikes are not set up for the same level of Handling as the Race bikes. The Race track is a controlled condition and our roads are not. DRIVE SAFE..there are people who love you and will be deeply hurt if you get hurt.

I suggest you go through the threads listed below to get a grasp on the basics of turning a motorcycle.

        Counter-steering

        Turning a motorcycle

Apart from that there are quite a few threads related to cornering on the forum. There's this one for example: Why bikes don't fall while cornering?
Use the search option to look around.
I don't let my motorcycles interfere with my motorcycling...
