::Re-Using Old {used} Engine Oil::

    did came accross a mechanic shop where they collected and keep all old engine oils in big mineral water cans

    asked them what is the purpose of it and how they dispose it off

    the answer is they used to sell it to construction companies where they spread this oil above the metal sheet which they use for holding the sealing of the house at the time of construction, so as to prevent water from draining beneath the sealing.

    is that true

    they are selling it at 15 rupees per ltr

        Yeah I have seen in construction of buildings where the tmt cables are kept on steel / metal plates and the cement mixture is poured on it during the SLAB process. So to avoid the cement mixture getting stuck to the metal plates they must be using mineral oil. I guess you got wrong meaning of CEILING , it should be CEILING and not SEALING , Sealing means something else. to seal, bond
