dear nav..d aim is to show dat an indian made bike can do 105 (abt 115 speedo indicated) all day long widout parts falling off, engine damage or rider fatigue..d aim is to show dat v now have an indian bike which gives maximum rider comfort and max performance..d aim is to show dat v now hv an indian bike whose engine can tk so much abuse..try doing this on a cbz/pulsar/fiero and u will cm to know d diff.. the aim is to
show how good dis bike is and how capable it is..
            i hope u got it..
overdrive could have choose pulsar/fiero/cbz but dey went for karizma.. why?? i hope u hv d answer buddy

not to take away any of the glory ot anything but to me it looks like the karizma is low stressed and good for long rides...basically what i'm saying is that the image thats being painted here now about the karizma doesnt go with the "premium sportsbike" title they've given it...more like a sports cruiser to me...just my opinion though...

THE engine life of karizma is gonna be quite high..unstressed bike. and developing medium power...good torque though...hence top end is less for a 220 CC. But i guess cruising ability will be high

my 1-2 paise lol, well bunny the bike is good if compared to what we have, but a big chinc in it's armour is the price and bhp.as for engines, even a 180 or fiero can take same riding surely.agreed it looks best of new lot.

bunny well if u have read about a guy who did banglore to bombay on fiero in 11hr 45min avg speed of 89km/hr over 1050km. ... I think that proved already about the reliability of the bike .... and from my exp on that road to maintain an avg speed of 89 u have to be flat out all the way. From my exp on the recent ride I was riding between 80-100 most of the time on empty roads over 96km and I managed a avg speed of only 72.

And regarding the comfort level ... well those guys were riding for just 2hrs and then taking a long break .... trust me 2hrs is nothing .. the real trouble starts when u r riding the bike for hrs and hrs ... non stop.

Also I think they should have tried to set the records on the road, this bike will be ridden on ... with pot holes, speed breakers, cross winds, etc to see how the bike behaves on the real track.

yesterday i got a chance to drive Karizma. Bike's performance is really superb. And the size is quite big. when u are on the road then u are really center of attraction. this was a yellow color bike. looks cool.

I do think some other bikes like the CBZ and Fiero are as reliable as the Karizma , and in terms of engine life , I do think the CBZ engine will be better than Karizma's .

This is coz the the CBZ's piston speed is lower than the Karizma's , thanks to the Karizma's long stroke , and so is the compression ratio . And doesn't the Karizma seem jetted too lean ?

I'm sure the Karizma will easliy handle normal roads as well as I did on the test track. It has a very good aero-dynamic shape and good wieght to handle cross-winds and stuff, its got great suspension mechanisms to handle pot-holes and bad roads, and a great engine to take all the stress.

u right buddy,go over a rough patch of road on a pulsar and do the same wid the karizma and u will come to know d difference.the difference in suspension, smoothness of engine,stress-free engine, pulling power at low rpm.i keep going wid sajeev (kaku, balck p180 wid 140 rear duro).we xchange our bikes and we both feel the difference in d above mentioned things
